However, there are some exceptions and in certain situations, you won’t be able to undo or redo the commands or changes that you have made. The redo function works the same way, redoing the last actions or changes that you have made. After each successive pressing of the command, each change will keep on reverting. All you need to do is keep on pressing the keyboard shortcut for the undo command which is ctrl+z. Considering Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint you can undo the last 100 typing actions or design changes, while on the other hand, Microsoft access is limited to only 20. The size of the buffer solely depends on the application. Each of the applications in Windows maintains a buffer of recent operations that can undergo to its previous situation or in other words you can undo the task which you just did.
